2020 is the Centenary of the execution of Dublin Brigade IRA Volunteer Kevin Barry. He was the first Irish political prisoner executed by the British regime since the executions of the 1916 leaders. All appeals for the life of 18-year-old Kevin Barry were denied and he walked to his death in Mountjoy Jail on 1st November 1920.
