My latest Léargas – the sixth – is about Bobby Storey. It’s called Óglach Bobby Storey – A Life well lived.

Bobby Storey was my friend and comrade for many years.

He was our leader, ár gceannaire – ar gcomrádaí – seachaí – crann taca.

Bob mór dedicated his life to the republican struggle.

I believe it is important that people in struggle, indeed all people, know where we come from.

By knowing our history, we will learn how to write our future.

I want to record the activism of those I came to know, or to know of, along life’s journey.

This edition is a tribute to all of those who knew and loved Bobby and rallied around when he was ill, and especially Teresa and his family.
